Many people know that I have been in a wheelchair for more than 60 years due to contracting polio in 1949. As I have grown older, it has become increasingly important to have the ability to find quality items and mobility products for my particular needs. I found myself scouring many different websites and wasting a lot of time and energy. In addition, I thought it would be easier and faster to have the ability to visit just one website and find most everything in one place -- thus, Mobility Matters.

 

To help me with this public effort, I have partnered with Smokey Spencer, National Marketing Director for Access Now, to work with me to provide people with disabilities a website full of products, services and information to offer everyone a “one stop” website.
